I visited Lavenham when I was in the U S Air Force. I had a couple of hours to see what I could, but I still do not know the real story of Lavenham. These houses are as they were many years ago, built without the tools of today, so I suppose that explains the uneven and crooked buildings. I hope someday before I die I will get to again visit Lavenham. I am a Yank, living in New Jersey, USA.
