My Father used to talk fondly of Lavenham. He was confirmed there in the 2^nd World War. His Grandparents and previous generations had lived nearby. His grandfather was a sugar beet farmer. He told me that on one of the bells in Lavenham church is our Family name Henry Pleasant, who was a bell founder. His grave I think is there. I remember visiting in the 70s. My father's name is Ronald Pleasants. His grandfather might have been Edward Pleasants. I don't know if any of my relatives are still there.
